How do you even pronounce the letter 7?

“Squamish (Skwxwu7mesh) 34 – Whistler (Skwikw) 91”

Sign located on Highway 99 (Sea to Sky Hwy) about 30KM north of Vancouver BC Canada. The language is considered Salish (Indian First Nation) or Squamish itself which is considered part of the Salish dialect.

It is a 7. 7 is used in the Squamish writing system to represent a glottal stop.
