That’s no valley, it’s a space station.

Just saw this sign today driving through Nevada. In the middle of the nothingness that is I-80 between wendover and Reno. I barely got my cell phone out in time to snap a picture of the second sign by the exit. I am still curious as to the origin of the name.

This sign should actually read Deeth/ Starr Valley. Deeth is a town… It’s really just a coincidence.

Just drove past this sign and had a discussion with the fam about how it came to be. Has it always been known as deeth start valley? On the way to Reno, BTW.

I live in the small town just a few miles away from it and it’s not called deeth Starr valley. Deeth is just a small part of the valley and used to be a town. Starr valley is a valley that’s right next to it, it’s just a funny coincidence.

Just like beggars canyon back home. I used to bullseye womp rats in my t-16, they’re not much bigger than 2 meters.
