No… they didn’t spell it wrong. This is how the rest of the English speaking world spells “Center”. This obviously wasn’t taken in the U.S. that’s all.
still, why not just remove the tree?
Maybe its an important tree…..near my house there is a tree in the middle of the road, they just put a fence around it
Nancy is right, there is only one country in the English-speaking world that spells it “center”. Here in Canada, as well as Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, South Africa, etc., it’s “centre”. Kinda like a marching band where my son is the only one that is in step. 🙂
The sign marks a tree planted by a small boy in honor of his father. It is in England and the tree is protected by the government. The boy fought to protect that tree all the way to parliment, where the government ruled it never to be cut down.
Does that make it a roundabout?
Don’t cut the poor tree down, just pave over it.
Nobody said it was spelled wrong Nancy. Nobody was attacking your queen nor your spotted dick with custard. So chillax
It clearly says on the right side of the page: they spelled “centre” wrong.
Trees are people too.
“Center” meaning middle of.
“Centre” meaning collective area. (Center of Road)
Darticulate – do you not see the original description used?
if you cant see the tree youre blind
if youre blind you cant see the sign or the road so get out of the car
They should tell that to George of the Jungle.
